Quality Control Lab Tech
Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent food processing manufacturer in the Mount Vernon, IN area, is seeking Quality Control Lab Tech to join their team!Job Summary (Condensed)
  • Perform inprocess and final material testing to verify compliance with specifications.

  • Conduct laboratory analyses supporting production, quality control, and minor research activities.

  • Record all test data in Total Lab Client (TLC) and prepare Certificates of Analysis.

  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and field equipment.

  • Follow all FDA, GMP, TTB, USP, EPA, OSHA, and internal quality/safety standards.

  • Support all food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements; perform additional duties as needed.

Minimum Requirements (Condensed)
  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Prior laboratory experience in a production environment.

  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and learn new responsibilities.

  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, and attention to detail.

  • Understanding of GMPs and plant personnel practices.

  • Ability to use lab instrument software; basic Word/Excel proficiency.

  • Solid math skills for lab calculations.

  • Reliable attendance, flexible scheduling, and effective teamwork.
