Job Summary
As a Quality Control technician, you'll be responsible for making sure our products pass all of our internal standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Test and review raw materials / finished products using a wide range of analytical instruments.
  • Document test results and report abnormalities
  • With general supervision and direction, operate and calibrate equipment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Be articulate and able to work collaboratively, both internally and externally.
  • Understand how the analytical equipment operates, but also why the testing is conducted and how it impacts the product.
  • Be able to work in an environment that emphasizes congeniality, creativity, flexibility, and fast-paced activities while, at the same time, ensuring that the Company operates in accordance with its guidelines and commitments.
  • Be able to accept direction and supervision well while possessing the initiative to make independent decisions.

Education & Experience
  • Working knowledge of analytical instrumentation and GLP basics
  • An Associates of Science in Chemistry, Biology or advanced degrees are preferred.

Physical Requirements
  • Standing and sitting throughout the day as needed
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Pay: This position has a salary range of $23.56-$28.80 The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location
Bonus Pay: Meridian offers an incentive plan for 2025 focused on safety, quality, and financial metrics. Eligible employees have the opportunity to earn up to $1,520 a year, with earned payments distributed quarterly throughout the year.
