Job Description

We are looking for a full time Quality Control Inspector who is responsible for ensuring materials are received in compliance with the applicable requirements, evaluate finished product for compliance to industry and customer requirements, and as well as assisting outside inspectors and auditors to assure a strong reputation.


Requirements:


Job & Quality Requirements

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Perform incoming inspections on received products and document results.
  • Perform Non-Destructive Examinations (NDE’s – visual inspection, dimensional measurements, coating thickness measurements.)
  • Evaluate measured dimensions for conformance to print requirements.
  • Read, interpret and implement information derived from customer specifications, finishing specifications, and quality assurance manual.
  • Provide assistance during AS9100 Quality System Audits
  • Assist Final Inspectors as needed
  • Collect and organize data for customer work packages
  • Maintain instrument calibration program
  • Perform calibration of instrumentation
  • Recommend improvements in quality procedures and equipment

Job Qualifications

  • Read, speak, and write in English.
  • Operate in Microsoft Windows.
  • Calculate square inches.
  • Operate test equipment (i.e. micrometer, amp hour meters, gage blocks, Go/No gages, Eddy Current machine).
  • Document in process and final inspection on Work Traveler.
  • Be able to offer customer and employees technical support in regards to surface finishing.
  • Ability to maintain business and manufacturing software.
  • Conduct lab analysis of processes baths.
  • Understanding how to perform Risk Analysis within all aspects of Quality Systems.
  • MUST have at least three-year experience in a technical or Q.A. position in surface finishing.
