Job description

Park Paving Ltd. is a well-established road construction company with a 50-year history of excellence in Edmonton. We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Supervisor to lead our quality control team and ensure that all paving projects meet and exceed industry standards.

As a Quality Control Supervisor, you will oversee daily quality assurance activities, supervise technicians, and coordinate with project managers to maintain the highest level of project quality and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and provide guidance to Quality Control Technicians
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols
  • Review and interpret test results, ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients regarding quality issues
  • Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship and material quality
  • Manage and maintain accurate documentation and reports related to quality control
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Train and mentor new quality control staff
  • Continuous improvement of quality control processes

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Proven experience in quality control within the road construction industry
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of asphalt, concrete, and aggregate testing methods
  • Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and team management abilities
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Pay Scale $32.00 - $35.00
