League Projects Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and technically capable QC Administrator to support our Quality Control program and project teams. This position plays a key role in ensuring quality requirements are identified, documentation is maintained and reviewed, and required submissions are completed accurately and on schedule.
In addition to document control responsibilities, this position will provide technical and administrative support to field Quality Control Inspectors (QCIs), including project pre-planning, review and interpretation of project quality requirements, preparation of quality submissions, and ongoing review of project documentation.
The successful candidate will work closely with field QCIs, project managers, clients, and third-party inspectors to support project compliance requirements and ensure projects remain organized and turnover-ready throughout execution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and organize quality control documentation and project records.
  • Support project QC pre-planning through review of project specifications, drawings, procedures, applicable codes and standards, ITP requirements, weld matrices, testing requirements, and client turnover requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation, review, tracking, and submission of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), including incorporation of client comments and revisions.
  • Assist field QCIs with the preparation, review, tracking, and submission of Requests for Information (RFIs) and other quality-related client correspondence.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of pressure/hydrostatic test plans, weld qualification/testing plans, and associated supporting documentation.
  • Review project weld matrices, weld maps, WPS/WPDS requirements, welder qualifications, material traceability, and supporting welding documentation.
  • Read and interpret applicable project specifications, procedures, codes, standards, and client requirements to assist in identifying inspection, testing, documentation, acceptance, hold, and witness requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support to field QCIs by reviewing project documentation and identifying missing, incomplete, conflicting, or potentially non-compliant information.
  • Coordinate inspection and test records, material traceability, welding documentation, pressure test documentation, coating records, equipment calibration records, and other supporting quality documentation.
  • Verify documentation completeness, accuracy, traceability, and compliance prior to client submission.
  • Establish and maintain project turnover indexes, document registers, naming conventions, and electronic folder structures in accordance with client-specific requirements.
  • Ensure required turnover documentation is properly named, organized, reviewed, and maintained throughout project execution rather than solely at project closeout.
  • Prepare, track, review, and assist with submission of final turnover packages and quality dossiers.
  • Support project teams with quality-related administrative and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate and schedule inspections with clients and third-party inspectors as required.
  • Maintain project filing systems, both electronic and hard copy.
  • Generate reports, spreadsheets, document registers, and tracking logs.
  • Assist with audits and quality reviews.
  • Ensure documentation complies with company, client, project, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in Quality Control administration, document control, project coordination, or a similar role within pipeline, facility, industrial, fabrication, or energy construction is preferred.
  • Proficient with Bluebeam Revu, including reviewing and marking up drawings and specifications, document comparison, searching technical documents, and PDF organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand construction drawings, applicable codes and standards, client specifications, procedures, and project quality requirements.
  • Ability to review technical requirements and identify applicable inspection, testing, documentation, acceptance criteria, hold points, and witness points.
  • Working knowledge of quality documentation such as ITPs, RFIs, weld records, weld matrices, WPS/WPDS, material traceability, pressure test documentation, coating records, and turnover packages.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify missing, incomplete, conflicting, or potentially non-compliant project documentation.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while recognizing when technical requirements require clarification or escalation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with field QCIs, project managers, clients, and other project personnel.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with applicable industry codes and standards such as CSA Z662 and ASME, along with welding, pressure testing, and coating requirements.
  • Experience with document management systems, electronic filing, and client-specific turnover structures.
  • Experience preparing or supporting ITP submissions, RFIs, pressure test plans, weld qualification documentation, and project turnover packages.
