We are currently seeking a Weekday Shift Shop QA/QC in our fabrication shop in SE (8700 Venture Ave SE, not transit-accessible).

What Were Looking For From You If This Describes You, Wed Love To Meet!

  • Possess CWB Level 1 Certification
  • Have 2+ years of previous Quality Control experience
  • Have CSTS-09/2020 ticket or Common Safety Orientation ticket
  • Have a solid understanding of ASME and CSA codes and practices
  • Show a proven commitment to Safety
  • Have the ability to use tools and equipment safely
  • Commitment to safety and adhering to all safe work practices and procedures
  • Complete dimension and visual inspections of welded piping and structural steel
  • Record welders' symbols, heat numbers, and radiography numbers on drawings and travel sheets
  • Prepare documentation for, and inspect hydrostatic & pneumatic pressure tests
  • Install name plates, coordinate inspections with ABSA, NDE Contractors and Client TPI's
  • Complete Quality Control paperwork
  • Be able to work in a manufacturing facility with other trades present
  • Have the ability to perform outside/inside work, sometimes in extreme weather conditions
  • Meet the physical demands of the position
  • Be able to lift up to 60lbs, work at heights, be agile, and be able to go on/off equipment, up/down ladders
  • Experience in welding and ASME equipment and piping is an asset
