Description

SUMMARY:

The Quality Line Inspector is responsible for monitoring and inspecting the production line to ensure that products meet the required quality standards. This role involves conducting regular inspections, identifying defects, and working closely with the production team to implement corrective actions. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct regular inspections of the production line to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify and document defects or non-conformities in products.
  • Perform tests and measurements using various inspection tools and equipment.
  • Record and report inspection results, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Collaborate with production team members to address and resolve quality issues.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure that all quality and safety regulations are followed throughout the production process.
  • Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards and best practices.
  • Functions as an information source for production staff and other departments when critical quality issues arise.
  • Ensures employees and temporary workers understand and comply with GMP requirements.


Requirements

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.
  • Must possess strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.
  • Able to use logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems.
  • Takes initiative and seeks additional training or direction as needed.
  • Must be willing to abide by Eatery Essentials policies and procedures, including those that are safety related.
  • Self-motivated individual willing to work hard, able to work in a group and alone, and be quality conscious.
  • Demonstrates a professional, team first attitude toward work and co-workers.
  • Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking of English(Bilingual is a Plus)

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one to three (1-3) years of experience in field, laboratory, or production facility quality control.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Activities include the ability to reach overhead, squat, and bend at the waist; the ability to lift up to 25 pounds or more; tolerance of standing posture continuously during shift; intense walking is involved.


Work Enviroment:

ย Work is performed in a manufacturing environment that is not climate-controlled. This role requires continuous physical activity and the ability to work in varying indoor temperatures, including hot and cold conditions.ย
