Inspector 1, Quality Control - Covington, GA (Contractor)
Pay Rate: $16/hr | Schedule: Mon-Fri, 6am-2:30pm
[About the Role]
Join a dynamic team at our Global Distribution Center in Covington, GA as an Inspector 1, Quality Control. In this essential position, you will ensure the highest standards of product quality and compliance throughout the kitting process. Ideal for detail-oriented professionals seeking to expand their quality control experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.
[Responsibilities]
- Execute visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on diverse products per current specifications and procedures
- Audit and review incoming and kitting DHRs for accuracy and completeness before product release
- Validate all components are present and properly accounted for prior to kitting
- Maintain accurate controlled documentation and uphold Good Documentation Practices
- Report deviations to Quality Management and take action on non-conforming products
- Ensure equipment is calibrated and operational prior to use
- Collaborate with operations teams to drive continuous improvement and resolve quality issues
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs
[Required Skills and Experience]
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Word
- 1-2 years' experience in quality control or similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities
- Capable of independent work and teamwork
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and operate a pallet jack
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures
