Onto Innovation strives to optimize customers’ critical path of progress by making them smarter, faster and more efficient.**Job Summary & Responsibilities*** Define and implement an effective software quality assurance strategy aligned with business and product goals in collaboration with program management and domain experts* Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing SQA team* Establish KPIs for quality, such as defect density, escape rate, and test coverage.* Oversee the development and execution of functional, integration, system, and regression tests, as well as equipment interface testing.* Lead the adoption of test automation frameworks (UI, API, and system-level).* Establish CI/CD quality gates with automated testing pipelines.**Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical or science degree.* 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with 3+ years in management or leadership roles.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Experience in the semiconductor domain, including fab/manufacturing software systems and equipment integration* Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle, test automation frameworks, and CI/CD tools.* Familiarity with Semi SECS/GEM standards, database validation, and programming languages, such as C# or Python.* Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.* Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-complexity environments.* Experience working with global teams across different time zones.Why Join Onto Innovation?At Onto Innovation, we believe your work should matter—and so should your well-being.
