Job description

The mission for this position as a member of the Quality Assurance Team is to perform inspections and testing according to Standard Operating Procedures and customer specifications to ensure the quality of finished products. 
Outcomes
  • Gather and perform all required finished product testing properly and within all required sample periods.
  • Perform all raw product inspections in a timely manner.
  • Complete hourly verifications proficiently and report any out of specification results to Production and Quality Management.  
  • Perform weekly GMP compliance checks.
  • Participate in solving quality and food safety issues.
  • Collect and label all required samples correctly and according to aseptic techniques.
  • Provide quality and production paperwork when requested and understand Stahlbush’s SBS system.
  • Legibly complete all required documentation.
  • Maintain all QA equipment and work areas.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Comply with GMPs and adhere to hygienic zoning practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Minimum Qualifications
  • Science background preferred.  Will accept any combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Experience in Quality Assurance, food science or hands-on lab preferred but not required. 
  • Must be detail-oriented with very strong math ability.
  • Works under direct supervision of QA Lab Lead, QA Lab Supervisor or QA Lab Manager.
Schedule
  • Thursday - Saturday, 6 am – 6 mm with rotating Sundays
