What are Qualifiers?

Qualifiers are professionals who assess and validate individuals or entities to ensure they meet specific criteria or standards set by an organization or industry. Their role often involves reviewing applications, documents, or performance to determine eligibility for a program, certification, or job. Qualifiers are critical in maintaining quality and compliance, and they may work in various fields such as sports, education, or construction. The exact responsibilities of a Qualifier can vary depending on the industry and the organization's requirements.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Qualifier, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Qualifier, you need strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a good understanding of industry-specific regulations or standards, often supported by relevant education or certification. Familiarity with specialized compliance databases, documentation software, and regulatory systems is typically required. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills help you effectively evaluate cases and ensure accuracy. These skills are crucial to maintain regulatory compliance, minimize risk, and support smooth business operations.

What are some common challenges faced by Qualifiers during the lead qualification process, and how can they be addressed?

Qualifiers often encounter challenges such as limited information from prospects, high call volumes, and the need to quickly determine lead quality under time constraints. Overcoming these requires strong communication skills, active listening, and the ability to ask probing questions that reveal a prospect's true needs and decision-making timeline. Utilizing CRM tools efficiently and collaborating closely with sales and marketing teams can help streamline the process and ensure only the most promising leads are passed along, improving conversion rates and saving time for the entire sales team.

Job description

The Mission: Lanspeed is a premier IT Managed Services Provider (MSP) built on 40+ years of reputation, integrity, and trust. We are hiring a specialized 1099 Partner to architect and execute a modern demand generation engine from the ground up.
We are not looking for a list-puller or a generic SDR. We are looking for a Builder/Operator who combines deep technical expertise in Apollo.io with the emotional intelligence required to sell high-trust services to CEOs and business owners.
The Three Mandates:
1. The Build (AI Demand Gen Stack)
  • Requirement: You must architect a complete, modern demand generation stack.
  • Scope: Beyond just email, you will design a holistic system that may include power dialing, direct mail, social touches, and ad/content layers.
  • The Test: You will tell us what the modern stack looks like. We expect you to select, implement, and manage the best-in-class AI tools for multi-channel demand generation and sales orchestration.
2. The Engine (Apollo.io Administration)
  • Requirement: proven, expert-level mastery of Apollo.io. (or a compelling argument to use a different tool or set of tools)
  • Scope: You will own the instanceโ€”handling all data governance, custom field configuration, intent-based triggers, and technical integrations with our other tools. You must ensure the data is clean, the sequencing is flawless, and the goals are achieved.
3. The Execution (High-Trust Sales)
  • Requirement: You must have experience selling MSP solutions in a high trust and reputation based marketplace. You will personally handle the output of the system you build.
  • Scope: You are the first human touchpoint. You will conduct the First-Time Appointment (FTA) video calls.
  • The Message: You are not selling a commodity. You are selling Reliability, Integrity, and IT Expertise. You must be able to articulate these intangible values to a non-technical decision-maker without sounding scripted or robotic.
The Workflow:
  1. Identify: You find high-fit prospects (50-500 seats in SoCal).
  2. Engage: You use your system to generate warmth and interest.
  3. Qualify: You hold the video call to validate the lead (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline).
  4. Handoff: You pass qualified leads to our onsite technical team only when the prospect is ready for an onsite meeting.
To Apply (Strictly Enforced): We are looking for experts. To be considered, you MUST include a link to a Loom video (3 mins max) addressing the following three points. Do not apply without this video.
  1. The Blueprint: What specific tool stack do you recommend building around Apollo.io to achieve a multi-channel "trust-based" sales motion? Show examples of successful implementations you have built.
  2. The Budget: Based on your recommended stack, what monthly budget should we set aside for tools and spend?
  3. The Accountability: How do you define and measure success? What specific KPIs or outcome targets should we hold you accountable to for this investment?
