Job Description

Store QSR Manager 

The Store QSR Manager oversees the daily operations of the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) business within an Eataly store, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and exceptional guest experience across all QSR concepts. This role provides hands-on leadership by driving operational execution, developing managers and team members, and ensuring company standards are consistently achieved. The Store QSR Manager reports to the Store Director and partners to execute business priorities while collaborating with Retail, Culinary, and Full-Service Restaurant leadership to deliver a seamless guest experience. 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Oversees the day-to-day operations of all Quick Service Restaurant concepts, ensuring operational standards, guest service expectations, and financial objectives are consistently achieved. 

  • Executes QSR business plans, merchandising initiatives, promotional programs, and operational priorities established by store and company leadership. 

  • Leads, coaches, and develops Management, Service Leads, and frontline team members, fostering accountability, engagement, and continuous development. 

  • Builds a high-performing team through recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, and succession planning. 

  • Monitors sales, labor, cost of goods sold (COGS), inventory, waste, and productivity metrics, implementing action plans to improve operational and financial performance. 

  • Oversees labor planning and scheduling to ensure appropriate staffing levels while balancing guest service and labor efficiency. 

  • Ensures all QSR concepts consistently deliver exceptional hospitality, food quality, beverage quality, speed of service, and operational consistency. 

  • Oversees inventory management, ordering, receiving, and product replenishment while maintaining appropriate stock levels and minimizing waste. 

  • Ensures compliance with all food safety, sanitation, health, safety, and regulatory standards across QSR operations. 

  • Collaborates with Retail, Culinary, Restaurant, Warehouse, Facilities, and Marketing leadership to support store-wide initiatives and deliver an integrated guest experience. 

  • Reviews operational and financial performance with the Store Director and develops action plans to improve departmental results. 

  • Responds to guest concerns and employee relations matters promptly, partnering with Human Resources and the Store Director when appropriate. 

  • Serves as the senior QSR leader on duty, providing operational direction and support during daily business and peak operating periods. 

  • Performs other duties as required or assigned. 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred. 
  • 5+ years of progressive management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced quick service, café, or counter-service environment. 

  • Experience leading multiple service areas through a team of supervisors or managers. 

  • Strong understanding of labor management, food cost controls, inventory management, and operational performance metrics. 

  • Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and team development skills. 

  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. 

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail Point of Sale systems. 

  • Experience and knowledge of coffee, espresso equipment, and beverage production. 

  • Experience with Italian food products and wine preferred. 

Job Requirements 

  • Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. 

  • Availability to travel up to 10% of the time. 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. 

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and move continuously for up to 8 hours. 

  • Ability to operate equipment such as manual espresso machines, drink blenders, juicers, and cash registers. 

Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000 annually
