About the Role

Join our growing team as a Commercial Lines Account Manager, serving as the service contact for small business and middle market accounts. You'll manage the full policy cycle — renewal prep, remarketing, coverage analysis, and claims advocacy — while partnering closely with producers to retain and grow relationships.

What You'll Do
  • Manage a book of commercial accounts (GL, Property, Auto, WC, Umbrella) with a focus on high-touch service and strong retention
  • Lead renewals end-to-end: marketing to carriers, negotiating terms, and presenting coverage recommendations
  • Identify coverage gaps and cross‑sell opportunities to support account growth
  • Translate complex policy language into clear, actionable client guidance
  • Partner with producers on new business, account rounding, and retention strategies
  • Advocate for clients during claims, coordinating with carriers for timely outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation in agency management systems (QQ Catalyst, AMS360, etc.)
What We're Looking For
  • 3–5 years of commercial lines experience in an independent agency, brokerage, or carrier
  • Active NC Property & Casualty license
  • Strong knowledge of commercial coverages and policy forms across multiple lines
  • Experience with agency management systems (QQ Catalyst, AMS360, or similar)
  • Clear communicator, highly organized, and able to manage a high-volume load with competing deadlines
  • Client‑first mindset with a proactive service approach
Nice to Have
  • ACORD forms and carrier portal experience
  • Familiarity with E&S / non‑admitted markets
  • Industry vertical background (contractors, hospitality, professional services, etc.)
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $55,000–$75,000 with growth potential
