Area Director/Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP)

We're seeking an experienced
Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) to provide clinical and operational leadership across multiple residential programs. As an Area Director, you'll ensure high-quality, person-centered services while supporting and developing field teams, maintaining regulatory compliance, and improving outcomes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
What You'll Do
- Oversee multiple residential programs and provide leadership to field teams.
- Ensure Individual Program Plans (IPPs) and active treatment plans are implemented and updated.
- Conduct routine site visits to monitor quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop staff while ensuring training and credential compliance.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings and collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and service coordinators.
- Maintain survey readiness and partner with Quality Assurance on audits and corrective action plans.
- Monitor documentation, incidents, and individual progress to ensure quality, person-centered care.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Healthcare, or a related field (required for QIDP eligibility).
- Minimum 1 year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
- 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience with person-centered planning, IPPs/PDPs, and regulatory compliance preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned area.
Salary Description
$51,000-$57,000 annually
