Job description

Are you detail-oriented and enjoy keeping things organized? A leading food manufacturing company in Selma is looking for a reliable Inventory Cycle Counter with forklift experience to join their warehouse team!
As part of this growing company, you’ll help maintain accurate inventory counts and support production efficiency in a clean, safe, and fast-paced environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with great long-term potential for the right candidate.
Inventory Cycle Counter responsibilities:
  • Perform daily cycle counts, verify on-hand quantities, and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Operate a forklift safely to move materials and perform counting tasks.
  • Maintain proper material rotation using the FIFO (First In, First Out) system.
  • Assist with scale house coverage and support shipping/receiving operations as needed.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality control procedures including GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards.

Inventory Cycle Counter Qualifications
  • 5+ years of forklift operation experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
  • 3+ years of inventory or cycle counting experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct inventory discrepancies.
  • Knowledge of food safety or regulatory compliance is a plus (GMP, HACCP, SQF).
