AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements and Nature of Work:

Position Purpose:

Provide teaching assistant to the course supervisor, conducting LAB/TUT, student consultation, marking and proctoring.

Allocation of hours and other duties will be specified by the supervisor.

What you will bring:

  • Experience in tensile testing, casting and machining,

  • Proficiency of the Python programming language

  • Successfully taking equivalent courses of the subject.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to correct grammar and composition.

  • Availability in person throughout the course session.

  • Availability to proctor the final exam.

Please note that the teaching method will be delivered in person. It is possible that the method could change due to health measures or other reasons.
