Job description

AMC Marine Sales & Service is looking for a full-time Marine & PWC Technician to join our growing service team in Hamilton.

This position will focus primarily on personal watercraft (PWC) service and repair, with some boat service work during slower periods. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working on PWCs, takes pride in quality work, stays organized, and communicates well with both teammates and customers.

This is a year-round position with steady work, a supportive team, and opportunities to continue growing your skills in the marine industry.

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing

  • Diagnose and repair personal watercraft (Sea-Doo, Yamaha, Kawasaki, etc.)
  • Perform maintenance, inspections, and seasonal service
  • Assist with boat service and repairs as needed
  • Document repairs and communicate findings clearly
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
  • Work closely with service advisors and teammates to keep customers informed
  • Help create a great customer experience from start to finish

What Weโ€™re Looking For

We are open to B-Level or strong C-Level technicians who have some mechanical experience and want to continue learning.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Experience working on PWCs, motorcycles, marine engines, powersports equipment, automotive, or small engines
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Good communication skills
  • Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
  • Ability to work independently while also being a team player
  • Basic computer or digital documentation skills are a plus

Marine industry experience is preferred, but not required for the right person.
