Position Summary:ย Cornerstone Advisors is seeking a highly analytical, client-focused Consultant โ€“ Contract Negotiation Practice to join our Contracts Solutions Group. This role serves as a negotiator on complex banking technology contracts (core systems, digital platforms, payments, and related technologies). The Consultant will analyze financial and contractual data, develop negotiation strategies, lead client engagements, and drive measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiations for complex banking technology contracts
  • Create detailed financial models based on client invoices, contracts, and survey data
  • Conduct comparative pricing research and benchmarking
  • Analyze contract terms and prepare negotiation strategies
  • Develop project plans and manage tactical aspects of engagements (3+ month lifecycle)
  • Build and leverage internal tools using proprietary and public data
  • Draft and edit client deliverables and communications
  • Coordinate client and vendor meetings
  • Provide exceptional client service and executive-level communication
  • Support RFP content development
  • Assist senior consultants and contribute to special projects as assigned
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business or related field (quantitative focus preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Strong emotional intelligence (EQ)
  • Ability to interact professionally with senior and executive-level clients
