AI Strategy & Transformation Lead

Technology Search Group

San Francisco, CA

Full-time

Job description

We are looking for an AI Strategy & Transformation Lead, not a product manager, with 3-4 years of tech consulting experience to serve as the strategic partner to executive teams at PE-backed home services roll-ups, helping them deploy and expand AI platforms across their portfolio of locations. This is a high-impact, client-facing role at one of the fastest-growing AI startups.

What will you be doing?

  • Own executive-level relationships at PE-backed portfolio companies, delivering status reports, ROI reviews, and strategic recommendations across 10-100+ locations
  • Build and drive the playbook for how partners with PE firms to roll out AI across their entire portfolio — shifting from reactive to proactive engagement
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (CSMs, engineering, product) to ensure successful deployment and adoption of products across customer locations
  • Create best practice materials, webinars, and trainings to help PE groups share success stories and drive adoption across their portfolio
  • Influence the product roadmap by spending ~50% of your time translating customer needs into product requirements alongside engineers

Key Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in tech implementation consulting (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Adobe deployments) at firms like Deloitte, Accenture, or KPMG — not strategy consulting
  • Exceptional executive presence and client communication skills — you must be someone we can confidently put in front of PE portfolio company leadership
  • Strong project management experience from coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder technology implementations
  • High agency and comfort in a fast-paced startup environment — you take ownership, run with things, and get them done
  • Must work on-site 5 days a week in San Francisco (Mission Bay)
