Job Description:
  • Purchase of product in a timely manner
  • Ensure that purchase orders are complete and due dates respected
  • Conduct follow-ups on due date deliveries
  • Compose reports
  • Communicate directly with suppliers for quality assurance
  • Data Entry
  • Additional duties assigned as deemed necessary
Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 3 years previous work experience as a buyer, in a manufacturing industry a plus
  • Able to work in a team as well as independently, to manage stress, work well under pressure and respect due dates
  • Must have excellent knowledge of Excel amp; Outlook
  • Well organized and able to multi task Attention to Detail
  • Must be able to physically handle the requirements of the job, including but not limited to: lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting, turning, climbing stairs, reaching, grasping, gripping, pushing, pulling, and spending entire working hours on your feet, etc
  • Must be able to understand all safety related document and worksite rules and practices, equipment operating instructions, documented safety management systems, and health and safety requirements, including the General Safety Rules and Individual Safety Commitment
