Job description

We are currently seeking a motivated, hardworking individual to join our Purchasing Team. This full-time, entry-level position will provide overall administrative support to the Purchasing and Sourcing Team.

Responsibilities (may include, but are not limited to):

  • Interact and communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, create purchase orders, and following up with vendors in regard to late, missing, damaged, or incorrect goods
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all purchases, including prices, quantities, and delivery dates. Ensure that all information is documented and easily accessible for reference and reporting purposes
  • Manage and process vendor invoices for timely payments
  • Review vendor statements and work with accounting with any discrepancies
  • Provide administrative support throughout the procurement process
  • Prepare regular reports including shortages, usage, cost, and supplier performance
  • Proactively communicating with other departments about product allocation, delivery inquiries, and backorders
  • Perform other job-related work and duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) (Required)
  • Working experience with MRP systems is a plus, but not required
