As we continue to expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Assistant to join our remote Procurement & Operations team. This position plays a vital role in supporting purchasing activities, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely procurement of goods and services needed to support business operations.

The Purchasing Assistant supports the procurement process by assisting with purchase orders, vendor communications, inventory coordination, pricing research, and procurement documentation. Working closely with Procurement, Finance, Operations, and other internal departments, you'll help ensure purchasing activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to accuracy while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with preparing, reviewing, and processing purchase orders.
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding pricing, product availability, delivery schedules, and order status.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, vendor information, and procurement documentation.
  • Track purchase orders from placement through delivery to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Research products, suppliers, pricing, and market trends to support purchasing decisions.
  • Compare vendor quotations and assist with cost analyses.

Requirements
