Job description

DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
  • Track purchase orders from order placement through confirmation and delivery
  • Provide timely updates on purchasing and order status
  • Perform accurate data entry related to purchasing, warehouse inventory, and accounts payable
  • Assist with scheduling receiving appointments
  • Post inventory and help maintain accurate inventory records
  • Assist with setting up payments to vendors
  • Download daily inventory counts and support inventory control
  • Run daily purchasing reports
  • Communicate with the sales team regarding inventory status

Qualifications
  • Associate degree in relevant coursework plus 5 years of experience in purchasing, purchasing support, or purchasing administration, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • General ledger experience
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in an open, fast-paced, active office environment

Preferred
  • Salesforce experience
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Business or Accounting
