About the Role:


The Purchasing specialist is responsible for ordering and tracking all commercial Kitchen and Refrigeration parts for the technicians, and communicating with Dispatch and Service Managers.


Job Details

  • Answer incoming phone calls from field technicians, provide purchase order numbers, and resolve issues.
  • Order all HVAC/R parts for technicians from authorized vendors, provide ETA’s and PO’s to Technician and Dispatch Dept.
  • Provide Pricing and help finding parts for Technicians.
  • Track receipts of all Parts purchases, ensuring ETA’s are met, and communicating any changes to Dispatch dept.
  • Support HVAC/R Parts Purchasing Coordinator during busy times.

Job Requirements

  • Attention to detail, job requires a high-level of detail-oriented work, and mistakes can be costly, and time consuming.
  • Interact with Customers, Vendors, and Field technicians to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Basic Computer Skills consisting of moderate to fast typing and knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, & Word.)
  • Order and track restaurant equipment parts for field technicians.
  • Communicate estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) and any issues with Dispatch and Service Managers.
  • Answer incoming calls from technicians, provide purchase order numbers, and resolve part-related issues.
  • Source parts from authorized vendors and provide pricing and availability.
  • Track receipt of all parts purchases and update relevant departments on changes.
  • Basic understanding of HVAC, Refrigeration, or Electrical is a plus, but not required.
