The Purchasing Assistant supports the purchasing team in sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring goods and services necessary for the organization’s operations. This role ensures timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining compliance with company policies and vendor agreements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the purchasing team in sourcing and negotiating terms with vendors.
  • Acquire goods and services necessary for the organization’s operations.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and vendor agreements.
  • Manage and support administrative tasks related to procurement.
  • Handle inventory management tasks as needed.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with purchase orders, purchasing, and procurement processes.
  • Strong administrative support skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management.
  • 1–3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or administrative support.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to learn and work within the company ERP system.
