This position is on-site only and located in Lincoln, Nebraska.

About the Role
As the Procurement Associate, you will play a key role in supporting and strengthening procurement operations across the organization. This position focuses on administrative duties, contributing to the Procurement Department development initiatives, contributing to ongoing process improvements, and ensuring effective management of data and documentation.
What We're Looking For
  • Associate's degree in a related field and/or equivalent procurement work or experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and database systems.
  • Ability to work onsite at our corporate office in Lincoln, Nebraska.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and compassionately.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Administration
    • Support procurement activities across departments, including RFQs, RFPs, contracts, and decentralized purchasing.
    • Maintain accurate data and documentation while monitoring service performance and compliance including pricing, contract terms, quantities, etc.
    • Enhance systems, reporting, and KPIs through cross-functional collaboration while identifying opportunities and mitigating risks.
  • Vendor Administration
    • Manage vendor relationships and maintain the vendor database through cross-department coordination.
    • Support onboarding, updates, and standard product list management via vendor platforms.
    • Assist with sourcing and vendor evaluation, including performance monitoring, risk identification, and relationship management.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Maintain working knowledge of departments, accounts payable, and systems to support operational alignment.
    • Contribute to strategic initiatives, including process improvement and change management.
    • Promote "RLC Standard" compliance while facilitating communication across teams and vendor partners.
