Job description

Position Overview: An HVAC Punch-Out Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper installation and functionality of HVAC systems before project completion. This role involves performing final inspections, testing, and repairs to meet project specifications and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough inspections of installed HVAC systems, including units, ductwork, and controls.
• Identify and document any deficiencies, discrepancies, or non-compliance issues.
• Perform necessary repairs, adjustments, or replacements to address punch-list items.
• Test and balance HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and quality control inspectors.
• Maintain accurate documentation of punch-list items, completed work, and associated costs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
• Assist with start-up and commissioning procedures as needed.
Requirements
• Must have 1 year of HVAC residential installer experience.
• Must have a Valid Driver's license and clean MVR report.
• Must possess the ability to own and use power tools to effectively execute plumbing jobs
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
• Ability to lift objects safely over 50 pounds, climbing, standing and kneeling.
• Ability to wear company approved personal protection equipment per local, state, federal or OSHA regulations.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
