Job description

The Carpenter/Punch List Technician plays a key role in completing final details on residential construction projects as well as perform as carpenter on current projects. This position focuses on finishing tasks, correcting deficiencies, and ensuring homes are delivered to clients in clean, complete, and professional condition. Ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, carpentry skills, and the ability to work independently.

Primary Responsibilities

- Complete punch list items including minor repairs, adjustments, touch‐ups, and finish work. 

- Perform tasks such as caulking, painting, patching drywall, installing hardware, adjusting doors, and correcting trim issues. 

- Identify additional deficiencies and communicate them to the project manager. 

- Maintain a clean and organized work area; ensure homes are presentable for client walkthroughs. 

- Assist with final cleaning, debris removal, and small warranty repairs as needed. 

- Provide reliable, timely work and document completed tasks.

Qualifications

- Experience with residential construction and carpentry preferred. 

- Ability to use basic hand tools and small power tools safely and effectively. 

- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship. 

- Reliable transportation to various job sites. 

- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. 

- Professional communication and client‐friendly demeanor.

Compensation
