We take pride in building high-quality, sophisticated communities, and we're looking for a Punch-Out Technician to help us deliver a polished final product on every project.This role is critical in ensuring our finished units and communities meet HILLS' quality standards before turnover. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and takes pride in delivering a clean, completed product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete punch list items following project walkthroughs to ensure units meet company standards
  • Perform light carpentry, drywall, paint touch-ups, and general finish work
  • Identify and correct defects or incomplete work prior to final inspections
  • Coordinate with Superintendents and subcontractors to ensure timely resolution of outstanding items
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites during final project phases
  • Assist with minor repairs and adjustments across multiple trades as needed
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards

  • Previous construction or maintenance experience preferred

  • Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to share one-one one and small group settings
  • Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
  • Ability to apply practical judgment to follow instructions and solve routine problems
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task 

Education, Experience, Licensing & Certification Prerequisites: 

  • High school diploma preferred 
  • Minimum or 2 years construction experience
