CNC Machinist, Setup-Operator, Programmer

Job description:

This position is a great opportunity for someone who is attentive to detail, open to new processes and procedures to include development. Disciplined at working independently within the team effort. This position is responsible for machines product throughput and continuous process improvement within the CNC department.

Must be capable of:

  1. Passing a thorough background check.
  2. Passing a thorough drug test, including a hair sampling drug test.
  3. Commitment to long term employment opportunity.
  4. Following verbal and written instructions as provided by supervision.
  5. Self - starting initiatives when performing the workday assignment.
  6. Focusing on tasks with minimal co-worker interaction (socializing on the clock is not acceptable).
  7. Safety-first mindset to include self-preservation, securing workspace and surroundings assuring coworkers safety while performing machine operator.

Required:

  1. Load and unload, make offsets, change tooling, daily maintenance on machines.
  2. Able to sharpen drills by hand, and tools using fixtures. Load program and setup machine through 1st article inspection.
  3. Create program at machine through keypad entry.
  4. Create Engineering Drawings using Computer Aided Design software: SolidWorks SolidCAD experience a plus.
  5. Create CNC Lathe, Mill and Router programs using Computer Aided Manufacturing software: SolidWorks SolidCAM experience a plus.
  6. Nine (9) axis Doosan PUMA MX1600ST lathe experience a plus.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

Organized, detailed oriented, responsible, punctual, daily assignment flexibility, must be able to lift 50 LBS.

Benefits: Monday - Friday 7:00 - 3:30, Two paid 15-minute breaks.
