Position Summary:
We are seeking a UX/UI Designer to support the strategy, design, and optimization of our ecommerce web experiences. This role blends hands-on design work with thoughtful user research, insights analysis, component library evolution, and continuous experience improvement. The ideal candidate is comfortable working cross-functionally, understanding user problems and desired outcomes, translating business needs into intuitive user flows, and creating polished, high-fidelity experiences.
Duties and Responsibilities:
UX & UI Design
  • Develop user-centered design solutions for ecommerce experiences, including navigation, product discovery, checkout flows, and content layout.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, process diagrams, and low-fidelity prototypes to support early-stage concepting.
  • Build high-fidelity UI designs, visual assets, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
  • Design, maintain, and iterate within a UI component library to increase reusability, visual consistency, and delivery efficiency across teams.
  • Ensure scalable, component-driven design patterns that support long-term growth of the ecommerce ecosystem.

Content Strategy & Experience Architecture
  • Partner with marketing, product, and development teams to align content strategy with user intent and business objectives.
  • Define page structures, content placement, and messaging hierarchies that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Develop and maintain UX documentation, style guides, interaction patterns, and component standards.

User Insights & Optimization
  • Monitor behavior analytics and session insights using Microsoft Clarity and Medallia to identify friction points and improvement opportunities.
  • Interpret user feedback, heatmaps, scroll paths, and journey insights to inform design iterations.
  • Support usability testing, A/B testing, and continuous improvement initiatives to guide feature enhancements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand goals, requirements, KPIs, and success criteria.
  • Collaborate with technical stakeholders and development teams to ensure feasibility, proper implementation, and alignment with technical constraints.
  • Present design concepts, rationale, and prototypes to stakeholders in clear, compelling ways.
  • Support development handoff through detailed specifications, component definitions, and interaction guidance.

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably within ecommerce or consumer-facing digital environments.
  • Proficiency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, prototyping, design systems, and component library management.
  • Experience using Medallia, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, or similar behavior analytics tools.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, responsive design, accessibility, and modern web patterns.
  • Ability to analyze behavioral and qualitative data and turn insights into actionable design changes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills-especially in distributed or remote environments.
  • Experience designing for mobile-first ecommerce environments.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing tools (Optimizely, VWO, etc.).
  • Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system.
