By balancing game-specific needs with a Riot-wide perspective, we build scalable solutions that enable all games and experiences to thrive.
As the Operations Lead for Riot Ecosystem Product, you will report to the Business Operations Director of Riot Ecosystem Publishing and partner closely with the Publishing Products leadership. In this role, you will serve as the operational backbone of Riot Ecosystem Product, transforming strategic ambition into disciplined execution. By designing scalable systems, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and driving visibility into performance and risk, you will enable the organization to deliver high-quality outcomes at scale.
You will drive impact through influence and cross-functional partnership, building scalable processes and collaborating with operations producers, and product leaders across Riot to design, align, and implement solutions at scale.
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with senior leaders to shape and evolve Riot Ecosystem Product's operational strategy.
  • Translate strategic vision into clear operational frameworks, measurable success metrics, and actionable implementation plans.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment by ensuring collaborating teams operate against shared priorities, governance, and operating models.
  • Lead high-impact, multi-team operational programs, including scoping, sequencing, governance, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Establish and manage intake, prioritization, and capacity planning processes, ensuring clear visibility into workload, progress, risks, and tradeoffs.
  • Own dashboards, KPI frameworks, and operational reporting to inform executive decision-making.
  • Support annual and quarterly planning cycles, including resource forecasting and budget alignment.
  • Develop and execute staffing plans, support hiring, and manage temporary workforce needs.
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage tools that enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Drive proactive risk management by identifying issues early and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Lead stakeholder communications to ensure clarity, transparency, and alignment.
  • Operationalize learnings and continuously improve team processes, systems, and standards.
  • Support onboarding and training for new processes, tools, and operational practices.

Required Qualifications:
  • 6-8+ years of experience in an operations leadership role.
  • 4+ years of direct experience partnering with development teams in an operational capacity.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira or equivalent project management tools is a must.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience working within Publishing organizations is a plus.
  • Experience leading through influence or managing matrixed teams.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and operating with autonomy to drive towards solutions.

For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes the delight of players.
