Job description

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. This role serves as the primary interface between our supplier partners and internal engineering teams, driving accountability and operational discipline across vendor quality and reliability performance. The Sr. Reliability TPM will partner closely with engineers to establish, track, and continuously improve supplier-facing metrics—including post-PFHO Annualized Failure Rate (AFR) performance and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) SLA adherence. A key focus of this position is building and scaling automation to enable real-time visibility into supplier quality trends, ensuring that vendors and internal stakeholders maintain rigorous standards throughout the product lifecycle. The successful candidate will own the end-to-end supplier metrics framework, holding both external vendors and internal partners accountable for meeting reliability targets and driving corrective actions when performance gaps arise.
Key job responsibilities
- This role will manage and improve performance of vendors for different LLE
- Equipment Specific Performance Metric (E.G Annual Failure Rate)
- Root Cause Analysis SLA (e.g., > 60 days)
- Root Cause Analysis Quality
- Corrective Action Implementation (% Complete)
- This role will reduce engineering LOE by 50% driving automation on above KPIs
- This role will publish monthly category review
- Supplier/reliability metrics to internal customers
- Publish top 2 critical quality/reliability issues for each category to leadership
- Publish corrective actions completion of top 2 issues for each category
- External supplier reviews with eternal customer (Monthly/Quarterly)
- Track availability impacting issues (CSE/LSE/LLT) and publish root cause and corrective actions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 7+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- 6+ years of program management, sourcing project management and supplier or customer relationship management experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
