Wasatch Peaks Credit Union is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our in-person Marketing team. This role plays a key part in shaping and maintaining our brand across digital and print platforms while supporting marketing initiatives that connect with our members and communities.


Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist develops and manages content, publicity, internal/external communication, and media relations. They assist with social media support and marketing programs, and SEO to support the credit union's brand. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys design, editing, problem solving, and possesses both written and verbal communication skills

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years of related experience in digital media, graphic design, marketing, or a similar field
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, or a related degree is preferred, or achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree is also preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate with other departments, members, and volunteers
  • Ability to think and write creatively
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to present credit union products and services in a positive manner
  • Knowledge of Social Media Marketing; ability to use Facebook, X, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite applications: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and InDesign

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate social media with Facebook, X, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, blogging, and more as strategically needed
  • Plan, write, post, design, and integrate content and images that build credit union engagement, brand awareness, and brand equity
  • Utilize HubSpot to develop, implement, and optimize marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and enhancing member engagement through the CRM, emails, workflows, and sequences
  • Develop, write, and publish external communications (quarterly newsletter, brochures, manuals policies, blog, website pages, landing pages, advertorial content, etc.)
  • Assist in planning photography, video capture, and production direction for the brand, products/services, training, testimonials, and other video content for the website and social media
  • Plan content from other credit union functional personnel to produce video content for publishing
  • Assist in the promotion and implementation of credit union products and services
  • Support event planning including the Annual Meeting, open houses, member appreciation events, and other credit union events

Schedule
This Full-Time position offers 40 hours per week, with hours normally between 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday with occasional evening/weekend events.
