Public health consultants typically have backgrounds in public health, epidemiology, or related fields and work with clients to develop effective, evidence-based strategies.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a public health consultant?

To thrive as a Public Health Consultant, you need a strong background in public health principles, data analysis, and project management, typically supported by a degree in public health or a related field. Familiarity with epidemiological software, statistical tools like SPSS or SAS, and certifications such as Certified in Public Health (CPH) are valuable.
