This remote position allows for flexible work arrangements, enabling you to provide therapeutic services from the comfort of your home while still connecting with clients and team members. You will collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals dedicated to a shared vision of improving mental health outcomes in our communities. Although you will primarily work from home, you may occasionally engage in community outreach or in-person activities to enhance client interaction and engagement.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illness and severe emotional disorders.
• Develop and implement integrated care plans that are aligned with clients' needs and ensure continuity of care.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy, tailored to individual client goals.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress, ensuring adjustments to treatment modalities as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary teamwork, contributing to discussions about care plans and collaborative approaches to service delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely submission of reports, including case notes, treatment plans, and progress reports.
• Assist in crisis intervention efforts, applying de-escalation techniques when appropriate and providing immediate support to clients in distress.
• Engage with community resources and providers to facilitate access to necessary supportive services for clients.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and client satisfaction.

Your primary focus will be on clients from diverse backgrounds who often face systemic barriers to adequate mental health care. You will engage with individuals who may have a history of trauma, socioeconomic challenges, or other obstacles impacting their mental health. Your role will be crucial in empowering these clients through compassionate support and tailored therapeutic interventions that promote recovery and resilience.

• A valid and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in New Jersey.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience working with individuals facing mental health challenges.
• Demonstrated competence in utilizing clinical practices and evidence-based interventions tailored to diverse client needs.

• Experience working in hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable, given the nature of our practice environment.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote service delivery methods.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially those prevalent in the Newark area, is an advantage.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development and continuing education.
