About Well Behavioral Health
Well Behavioral Health provides outpatient behavioral health services in both in-person and virtual formats, including therapy, coaching, nutrition counseling, groups, and Intensive Outpatient Program services. Our programs support clients navigating eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, neurodivergence, and other mental health concerns
About This Role
Well Behavioral Health is hiring a full time hybrid clinician to join our Midtown Manhattan based team
This role is for a licensed or associate-level clinician who is passionate about trauma informed, evidence based adult care and interested in working across both outpatient therapy and Intensive Outpatient Program services
The clinician will carry a mixed caseload that may include individual outpatient therapy, IOP clients, and group facilitation. This position includes both remote work and required in person work at our Midtown Manhattan office
This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys collaborative care, values clinical depth, and wants to grow a clinical specialty such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, ERP, somatic therapy, eating disorder treatment, trauma treatment, or general mental health care
Role Responsibilities
  • Provide individual outpatient therapy to adult clients.
  • Support clients participating in Intensive Outpatient Program services.
  • Facilitate IOP groups focused on eating disorders, trauma, general mental health, skills, stabilization, emotional regulation, and related clinical needs.
  • Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans based on client needs, goals, symptoms, and level of care.
  • Use evidence-based and trauma-informed interventions appropriate to each client's presenting concerns.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including therapists, dietitians, coaches, case managers, and outside providers when appropriate.
  • Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, team meetings, and care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, families, referral sources, and treatment team members as needed.
  • Support clients in building skills, insight, stability, and meaningful progress across outpatient and IOP settings.
  • Continue developing clinical expertise in one or more specialty areas

Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in a mental health field required
  • Licensed or license-eligible in New York as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD, LMSW, or related clinical credential.
  • Experience or strong interest in trauma-informed and evidence-based care.
  • Comfortable working with adults in both individual and group settings.
  • Interested in treating eating disorders, trauma, general mental health concerns, or co-occurring presentations.
  • Able to work both remotely and in person at our Midtown Manhattan office.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Open to learning, feedback, consultation, and ongoing professional growth.
  • Preferred experience includes group facilitation, IOP/PHP/residential/higher level of care settings, eating disorder treatment, trauma treatment, CBT, DBT, EMDR, ERP, somatic therapy, anxiety, mood disorders, OCD, or related modalities.
  • Some evening availability may be required based on outpatient and IOP program needs.
  • Strong associate-level clinicians and early-career licensed clinicians with relevant experience or strong specialty interest will also be considered.
