Receptionists are often the first point of contact when patients come to Cleveland Clinic. Your warm smile, positiveattitudeand kind, compassionate and empathetic demeanor sets the tone for both the current visit and future visits. In this role, you will supportthe Psych Unit by controlling traffic in and out of the unit, checking patients in and out,assistingwith discharges and other administrative tasks.Receptionists deliver what matters most to our patients and their families, ensure exceptional experiences and thrive on making positive impacts in the community.

APRNcaregiver in this position worksvarying shifts between 8:00AM - 8:00PM, including weekends and holidays.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Perform receptionist functions for assigned areas and/or departments.

  • Greet guests and provideappropriate assistanceand information.

  • Receive, screen,routeand respond to incoming telephone calls.

  • Takeaccuratemessages and ensuretimelydelivery.

  • Comply withprivacy and confidentiality policies when communicating with callers and guests.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • One year of related experience

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Two years of college and/or business school

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
