Prudential Annuities, a division within Prudential's Individual Solutions Group, provides innovative retirement solutions to help clients meet their retirement income challenges. We are currently seeking a visionary sales professional to join our team as an Annuities External Wholesaler supporting the Bank/Wirehouse Distribution Channel across Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, and the Florida Panhandle.

This is a virtual (home office) position; however, candidates should reside within the assigned territory to effectively support client relationships and extensive travel requirements. Candidates located in Nashville, TN or Birmingham, AL are strongly preferred, though qualified candidates residing elsewhere within the territory will be considered.

This role will engage in both wholesaling and point-of-sale activities to drive sales of Prudential annuity products and deepen relationships with Financial Advisors and key distribution partners throughout the territory.

As one of the leaders in the annuities marketplace, this role will focus on the sales of Prudential fixed and variable annuity products. This position reports to a Divisional Sales Manager and requires significant travel throughout the territory (approximately 80%).

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a front-line sales role
  • Demonstrated strong fixed and variable annuity product knowledge
  • Strong sales and relationship management experience required
  • Demonstrated sales production with new and existing Financial Advisors preferred
  • Knowledge of financial markets with experience in a financial services organization preferred
  • Understanding of how annuity products fit within the overall retirement planning landscape
  • Analytical skills and excellent communication and presentation skills
  • FINRA Series 6 or 7, and 63 and state Insurance licenses are required (Resident and/or non-resident as defined by territory)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Must reside within the TN, AL, MS, and Florida Panhandle territory; Nashville, TN or Birmingham, AL preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory (approximately 80%)
