Job Responsibilities/Qualifications:

  • Mission Focus: Perform computer protocol analysis and session reassembly of known and unidentified protocols. Recognize the characteristics, functions and formats of different networks (e.g., Synchronous Optical, Wireless LANs, Closed). Develop methods, tools and/or computer-based programs to process analytic problems. Explore and test multiple avenues of discovery.
  • Technical Proficiency: Disseminate results of signal analysis and provide data to customers and partners. Log signals-related information and update files on signal characteristics in relevant databases.Analyze new algorithms and protocols. Document analytic tradecraft and methodology.Interpret output of specialized tools and computer-based programs.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 4 years relevant experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 12 years of relevant experience, or an associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience will be considered for those who have completed one of the following military training courses: 451 (Intermediate Signals Analysis) or 452 (Advanced Signals Analysis), or who have participated in or graduated from the Military COMINT Signals Analysis Program (MCSAP).
  • Security Clearance Requirement: Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance to be considered for this role.
  • Desirable Skills: Deep understanding of data link layer OSI model, network stack, and network architecture. Packet Capture (PCAP) Analysis and use of Wireshark. Experience with hybrid cloud architectures integrating private cloud resources and external services such as data management and O&M. Experience using AMOD tools such as XKS.
