Job Description
Protective Services Manager

Allied Universal® Enhanced Protection Services is seeking an experienced Protective Services Manager to join our Risk and Consulting Group. This position is responsible for overseeing the smooth and effective operation of protective services and related processes for clients in New York City and across North America.

The Protective Services Manager will serve as a key point of contact for the client, maintaining direct communication regarding service delivery, personnel, and operational requirements. The successful candidate will report to the client’s office and provide leadership, supervision, and operational management for a team of Executive Protection operatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee quality control for all services associated with the account.
  • Drive continuous innovation and improvements across service delivery.
  • Manage and supervise all personnel and teams supporting the principal and/or client.
  • Develop, implement, supervise, and enforce operational strategies and procedures.
  • Oversee security operations management, supervision, and deployment.
  • Coordinate priority intelligence requirements to inform and support field operations.
  • Ensure all agent and team training requirements are met, while identifying emerging training needs and opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records, manage operational data, and prepare reports.
  • Develop and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Develop job descriptions and coordinate recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding activities.
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations and manage documentation, corrective action plans, and, when necessary, terminations.
  • Supervise billing and invoice processes.
  • Manage operational forecasting and budgets.
  • Oversee timecards, expenses, and resource allocation.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Valid driver’s license when required to operate a company- or customer-owned vehicle.
  • Ability to meet all applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of full-time Executive Protection experience within a dynamic protective services program; embedded program experience is preferred.
  • Relevant security and/or close protection management experience, including experience in government, law enforcement, military, and/or private security environments.
  • Strong understanding of protective operations, including residential security and executive protection driving.
  • Ability and willingness to accommodate short-notice domestic and international travel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply effective conflict-resolution techniques.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments to meet business and operational needs.
  • Proven ability to evaluate program effectiveness and drive operational efficiency and quality control.
Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary: $85,000

Allied Universal offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Four personal days.
