Job description

Change Manager

Location: Atlanta, GA 30339 (Hybrid)

Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Experience Required: 7+ Years

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Change Manager to lead organizational change initiatives supporting a portfolio of high-impact Supply Chain Transformation programs. This role will be instrumental in helping employees, leaders, and business stakeholders successfully adopt new processes, technologies, and ways of working across a dynamic and evolving supply chain organization.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team driving strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, improve customer experience, and modernize supply chain capabilities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can independently lead multiple change efforts while partnering closely with program teams, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.

While this role does not have direct people management responsibilities, the Change Manager will independently own change management workstreams and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the lifecycle of transformation initiatives. Successful change managers often lead stakeholder engagement, communications, training, readiness assessments, and adoption strategies for large-scale business and technology transformations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead organizational change management efforts for multiple supply chain transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies, plans, and deliverables aligned to project objectives and timelines.
  • Conduct stakeholder analyses, change impact assessments, and organizational readiness evaluations to identify risks and opportunities for adoption.
  • Create and implement communication strategies that effectively engage leaders, managers, and frontline employees throughout the change journey.
  • Partner with business leaders to build sponsorship, alignment, and commitment across impacted teams.
  • Design and coordinate training and enablement activities to support successful adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Identify and proactively manage resistance to change while developing mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, focus groups, and change readiness sessions.
  • Establish adoption metrics and monitor business readiness to ensure successful implementation and sustained outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with Program Managers, Product Teams, Supply Chain Leaders, Operations Teams, HR, and Communications partners.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership regarding change risks, adoption progress, and organizational readiness.
  • Support go-live activities, stabilization efforts, and post-implementation adoption measurement. Change management leaders commonly own communication, stakeholder engagement, training, readiness, and adoption activities to drive successful transformation outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Organizational Development, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience leading organizational change management initiatives within large, complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated success supporting enterprise-wide business transformation, supply chain modernization, ERP implementations, operational excellence programs, or technology-enabled change initiatives.
  • Experience independently managing multiple projects and workstreams with minimal oversight.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence leaders and drive alignment across all organizational levels.
  • Experience developing change impact assessments, communication plans, training strategies, and readiness assessments.
  • Excellent verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and operate effectively in fast-paced transformation environments.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience supporting Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics, Inventory Management, Transportation, Procurement, or Fulfillment organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prosci, CCMP, ADKAR, or other Change Management certification.
  • Experience supporting ERP, WMS, TMS, SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise system implementations.
  • Background within retail, consumer goods, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environments.
  • Experience working within a PMO or transformation office.
