Your New Role:

The Production Coordinator is an entry level position which will play a vital role in assisting the Bleacher Report Production Management team with various elements of production management. This role will support both the remote and in-studio components of the department. This role requires someone who is a self-starter, who can take a task and make it their own. This position requires someone who can prioritize their own tasks and schedule and is effective at managing up by anticipating needs. No previous production experience is required.

This role reports to the Bleacher Report Production Manager.

This role requires acute attention to detail, as well as a thorough communication skills.

This role also requires working some weekends and late nights

This role will require some travel (10%)

Your Role Accountabilities:

LIVE/TAPED REMOTE PRODUCTIONS -

  • Support show day and pre-production:
    • Sourcing any props for onsite productions
    • Managing onsite runner team, overseeing catering delivery etc.
    • Taking detailed notes of any problems throughout the show to send to the rest of production operations team
    • Collect and scan onsite appearance Releases
    • Search for remote show locations
    • Source stand-ins as needed
    • Book all catering for onsite productions

COLLABORATION & COMMUNICATION -

  • Support Production Managers in communicating updates to various departments
  • Maintain meeting notes and update production plans along with content leads

PRODUCTION OPERATIONS

  • Book travel for above the line production crew members
  • Create check lists for each remote show needs
    • Tubby, props, prints, etc.
  • Reconciling expenses for remote production shoots
  • Research production locations for remote shoots
  • Maintain detailed list of production supplies in warehouse locations
  • Managing Airline bill - adding all coding
  • Managing HERTZ Bill - adding all coding
  • Coding the AMEX bill monthly
  • Onboard IC/ Temp New Hires
  • Work with payroll for timely payment of freelance staff

Qualifications & Experiences:

  • On-set production experience
  • Able to work nights and weekends when needed
  • Able to travel in the domestic United States

Not Required but preferred experience:

  • 1 - 2 years of Production Coordinator, PA, and Runner experience
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft Suite
  • Great attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
  • Ariba Experience
  • Beeline Experience
  • Concur Experience
