Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Grant Development Project Manager to lead and coordinate the full lifecycle of government‑facing grant submissions. This role does not perform primary grant writing; instead, it provides strategic leadership, direction, and oversight to both internal contributors and external grant writers.

The ideal candidate understands how government proposals must be structured, what high‑quality grant writers should deliver, and how to guide the creative and narrative process to ensure submissions are compelling, compliant, and aligned with funding priorities. This position requires strong project controls, excellent communication, and experience supporting organizations that pursue government funding. Hands‑on NetSuite experience is required to support budgeting, reporting, and Finance collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full grant development lifecycle from planning through submission.
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to streamline future submissions.

  • Use NetSuite to support grant budgeting, review spending data, and coordinate with Finance on reporting and compliance needs.
  • Serve as the internal liaison to third‑party government contracting specialists supporting grant identification, technical review, and compliance checks.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • Hands‑on NetSuite experience (required)
  • Excellent communication, editing, and review skills.

  • Strong project management skills, including timeline management, stakeholder coordination, and document control.
