Job Description

PROPERTY ADMINISTRATOR
Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a Property Administrator at GDIT. Here, youll enable the success of the most critical government missions and the growth of a meaningful career in Contract Management.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Property Administrator supports and manages the responsibilities of the successful completion of all tasks in assigned projects. Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance, and/or repair activities.

  • Oversees manual inventory and data entry to the property database of record ensuring discrepancies are corrected and asset records are accurate.
  • Control and document assets through the life cycle of receiving, barcoding, tracking movement of assets and disposition of assigned equipment/material.
  • Document moves and update/track movement of assets between facilities.
  • Run reports to assess and maintain consumable stock levels completing equipment reorders as required.
  • Manage equipment movement between facilities.
  • Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance, and/or repair activities.
  • Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory, and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Comprise logistics analyst and technician to be part of a team of Property Administration professionals focused on supporting the customer's mission at the largest site in the customer's enterprise.
  • Ready for full days, fast pace, and a variety of skill sets used throughout the week.
  • Perform the full spectrum of duties associated with shipping/receiving, inter-plant transfers, barcode assignments and database maintenance.
  • Able to account for annual inventory of thousands of accountable items, working with security and government logistics managers for disposition.
  • Assist other work centers to identify and satisfy their logistics requirements.
  • Attention to detail and ability to track multiple logistics tasking through established and evolving policy a must.
  • Participates in special projects as required.

Additional Job Description

  • Must be able capable of performing all duties assigned to team members, including lifting, carrying, and loading equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to access IT equipment in, under, and around office furniture, as part of annual inventory is required.
  • Must be able to manage and execute tasks associated with palletizing and de-palletizing equipment during day to day operations or staffing shortages.

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
Experience: 2+ years of related experience
Technical skills: Must have MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook skills. Proficient in creating, modifying, and organizing spreadsheets with large line items. Proficient in database entry, maintenance, and quality control.
Security Clearance Level: Must holda TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Location: On Customer Site

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $61,402 - $69,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
