Job description

Position Description: POSITION SUMMARY
The Property Acquisition and Leasing Specialist (PALS) of the Tule River Homebuyer Earned Equity Agency will require excellent administrative and analytical skills to follow recommendations in the review and execution of property acquisition documents including purchase and sales agreements, addendums to those agreements, loan closing documents, and lease agreements. The PALS will ensure these documents are consistent, conform to company policies, are executed properly, and returned timely to the proper industry partners. This position requires the capability to organize their time to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is critical.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Receive and review loan purchase agreements, and review and execute related addenda based on review team recommendations.
2. Review and execute loan documents for property acquisitions in the lease-purchase option program.
3. Review and execute lease documents for tenants occupying acquired properties.
4. Return executed documents to the appropriate parties within required time frames.
5. Organize and package designated executed documents for overnight delivery.
6. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or required by the project.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
1. High school diploma or GED, AA degree preferred.
2. Ability to manage multiple tasks and to remain organized to meet deadlines in a high paced and sometimes stressful environment.
3. Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing while under stress due to document deadlines.
4. Experience in mortgage lending or real estate is preferred.
5. Skilled in using Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
6. Proficient use of a computer and ability to learn and propose improvements to a proprietary software program.
7. Notary Public mandatory.
8. Must be comfortable when working with tight deadlines.
9. Must pass pre-employment background, drug, and alcohol screening.
10. Ability and willingness to work across multiple time zones and, when needed, stay late to meet critical deadlines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Position requires prolonged standing, sitting, bending, and stooping in the performance of daily activities.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading, distance, computer, and color vision. Acute hearing is required. Must be able to lift up to twenty pounds.

The position also requires grasping, repetitive hand movement, and fine coordination in reviewing, completing, signing, and scanning documents using a computer mouse and keyboard.
