Diamond Equity Investments is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Acquisition Specialist/ Investment Associate to join our growing Chicago team. This is an exciting opportunity for sales professionals, business development specialists, and aspiring commercial real estate investors looking to build a long-term career in real estate acquisitions.

You'll work directly with experienced acquisition professionals, gain hands-on investment experience, and play a key role in sourcing and evaluating commercial real estate opportunities.

What You'll DoSource New Investment Opportunities
  • Identify and pursue commercial property acquisition opportunities
  • Build relationships with property owners, brokers, and industry professionals
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of acquisition leads
  • Generate opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship-building
Analyze Commercial Properties
  • Evaluate warehouses, multi-family assets, and other commercial opportunities
  • Review financials, market data, and investment potential
  • Learn valuation methodologies and market trends
  • Conduct research and preliminary underwriting
Tour Properties & Conduct Due Diligence
  • Visit potential acquisition sites throughout the Chicago market
  • Assess renovation opportunities and project feasibility
  • Gather property information and market intelligence
  • Support due diligence efforts during the acquisition process
Support Negotiations & Deal Closings
  • Assist with negotiations and purchase discussions
  • Help structure acquisition opportunities
  • Collaborate with senior acquisition professionals
  • Support transactions from initial contact through closing
Manage CRM & Pipeline Activity
  • Track leads, opportunities, and communications
  • Maintain organized records and follow-up schedules
  • Manage acquisition pipelines and prospect activity
  • Ensure accurate reporting and documentation
What We're Looking ForPreferred Experience
  • Sales, Business Development, Customer Service, or Hospitality experience
  • CRM experience preferred
  • Real estate experience is a plus but not required
  • Experience building relationships and managing pipelines
