Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. is seeking a Receptionist to join our Vantage Project in Reno, NV. This role will be responsible for answering incoming calls, greeting visitors and directing visitor traffic in a friendly and positive manner, and any other relevant administrative tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Answer and direct all incoming calls professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Greet and direct visitors.
  • Distribute and sort incoming mail/packages promptly, and handle outgoing mail through various vendors (UPS, Fedex, Amazon, etc.) and maintain postage machine.
  • Update jobsite and office mailboxes as needed.
  • Keep Project Directory updated and distributed at all times.
  • Maintain fax machines copiers and printers. Keep paper and ink stocked.
  • Maintain the appearance of the jobsite office, including lobby and main conference rooms at all times.
  • Maintain the appearance of the Kitchen. Keep stock of supplies and ordering additional supplies/ snacks/ materials.
  • Maintain office supplies/equipment, ordering and scheduling maintenance as necessary.
  • Book conference rooms as needed.
  • Main contact with project administrators in the field and keep them updated of pertinent information.
  • Coordinate jobsite meal orders and lunches, when needed.
  • Additional administrative duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2-3 Years working in a professional office environment
  • Friendly, energetic and welcoming demeanor highly preferred
  • High School Diploma or higher
  • Ability to type 35-40 WPM
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Previous administrative experience preferred
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
