Job description

The Liquid Propane Service Representative (LPSR) is responsible for delivery and service of a group of propane customers. This includes delivery of product and installation of tanks as needed. High value is place on service and retaining the customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver energy products to the customer on a timely basis
  • Respond to emergency service calls as needed
  • Maintain timely, accurate records on sales and inventories
  • Maintain safety standards at all times
  • Maintain daily communications with the department manager
  • Look for opportunities to sell additional products and services
  • Maintain the truck in good working order which would include but not limited to keeping the truck clean and presentable, report all discrepancies of the truck and maintain records for work repairs.
  • Operate within the standards set by USDOT and FMCSR

Requirements
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
  • Knowledge of basic commercial truck maintenance
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals
  • Ability to follow established processes
  • Basic knowledge of computers and basic software
  • Ability to manage time effectively

Education:
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • CDL license with the appropriate endorsements
  • CETP

Physical Requirements:
  • Able to reach, pull and lift 50+ lbs
  • Able to handle repetitive lift and pull motion
  • Able to read documents with fine print
  • Able to use a keyboard
  • Able to hear effectively on the phone
