Premier Ag Co-op, Inc. is looking for a safety-minded, mechanically inclined Propane Service Technician who takes pride in dependable work and outstanding customer care. In this role, you'll install propane tanks, support product deliveries as needed, respond to service needs, and build trusted customer relationships. Propane experience is welcome, but we're willing to train the right candidate.

Requirements

What You'll Do


Install propane tanks safely and professionally.

Deliver propane products and support tank placement as needed.

Help maintain bulk plant compliance and follow established operating procedures.

Respond to emergency service calls when scheduled or needed.

Keep timely, accurate sales, service, and inventory records.

Maintain high safety standards and operate in accordance with USDOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

Identify opportunities to connect customers with additional products and services that meet their needs.

Assist with general labor and other operational duties as business needs arise.


What You'll Bring


High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid CDL with the appropriate endorsements; candidates willing to obtain the required license or endorsements may also be considered.

CETP certification or the ability to obtain it.

Propane industry knowledge is helpful, but training is available.

Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with commercial truck maintenance.

Understanding of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to follow established processes, manage time effectively, and work independently.

Basic computer and software skills.
